Let the story tell itself. That's the pace you need to follow. Write when it speaks to you, but take time every day to sit down in front of the computer, clear your mind, and LET it speak to you. Sometimes it's in pages, sometimes it's in paragraphs, sometimes it's only in sentences. The important thing is that you are working on the story in some way, shape or form. If you are constantly moving forward, you will eventually finish it. I promise!

There is novel writing and there is story discovery. Gaining knowledge should not stop you from writing. It should only enhance editing.

Hey! I had started reading your novel Guardian's Redemption on The Next Big Writer site but then noticed you took it down. Is it every going back up or perhaps will it be posted here? I would love to read your work again and finish it.

Hope all is well, great site!!

Hello I am so glad I found your blog, I really found you by mistake, while I was browsing on Aol for something else, Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to say thanks a lot for a remarkable post and a all round thrilling blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all at the minute but I have saved it and also added your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the great job.

YES!

Exactly!

The more you suppress the muse the longer and more painful a novel is to draft. Lock up the pesky editor. She'll have her turn later, and write! Write! WRITE!

A new world cannot be built in a day, or week, a month or even a year. It takes knowing the entire "population" of your world before you make the "rules" solid.

Have fun. Be creative and for heaven's sake DO NOT think!!!

Hehe -- Yes, the characters are alive and well!! That is wonderful thing. If you want to be writing then you do need to listen to them. They have all the time in the world to sit and think about the story plot when you do not. The magic cannot happen unless you let it.

Music is a MUST have for me to write. If it's not right, I can't get the scene to just flow. I can spend all of my writing time in day setting up the "perfect" play list for a given chapter, character or even novel.

I feel ya with the music,

Well, I see you've gotten yourself into a fine quandary. The danger must be greater than hero defeating it. I know you know this. Close your eyes. Pull up your keyboard. Set your fingers on the keys. Let the magic flow.

If you've let your villain become as real as your hero, then he shall force Kian into compliance for you for he doesn't have the same hang-ups about Isabel's safety.

Let them all become real and the story will write itself.
